Answers :

We appreciate the invite to this event. It was an incredible turnout! We would love to be included in future events.

We truly admire Booker T. Washington‘s commitment to the betterment of its students, mental and emotional well-being. Keep up the great work! Should you need our support in the future, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Now that we know how the event is run, we can have even better material for the students in what our assigned topic is (if we know ahead of time). Next year if we could hav the assignment with 2-3 weeks notice, we could take care of that. We enjoyed presenting on self-care! Thank you for inviting us!!

Pre-Test Scores

Lined Corporate Planning Business Scene
Black Dotted Circle Recolorable Outline

Here are the average pre-test scores broken down by grade level:

  • 11th Grade: Average score of 11.36 out of 15

  • 12th Grade: Average score of 11.28 out of 15

  • 10th Grade: Average score of 8.00 out of 15

  • 9th Grade: Average score of 7.29 out of 15

These scores indicate a general trend where older students (11th and 12th graders) scored higher on the financial literacy pre-test compared to younger students (9th and 10th graders). This could reflect a greater exposure to financial concepts as students progress through their high school education.

Post-Test Scores

Black Dotted Circle Recolorable Outline

Here's the comparison of average scores between the pre-test and post-test, by grade level, along with the observed increase in scores:

  • 11th Grade:
  • Pre-Test Average Score: 11.36
  • Post-Test Average Score: 12.00
  • Increase in Score: +0.64

  • 9th Grade:
  • Pre-Test Average Score: 7.29
  • Post-Test Average Score: 7.55
  • Increase in Score: +0.26

  • 12th Grade:
  • Pre-Test Average Score: 11.28
  • Post-Test Average Score: 11.43
  • Increase in Score: +0.15

  • 10th Grade:
  • Pre-Test Average Score: 8.00
  • Post-Test Average Score: 6.33
  • Increase in Score: -1.67

From this data, we observe that 11th, 9th, and 12th graders showed an improvement in their scores after the speakers' presentations, indicating an increase in financial literacy. However, the 10th graders' average score decreased, suggesting either a lack of understanding or perhaps a difference in the group of students who took the pre-test versus the post-test.
